Competitions

This year, we will hold a progressif tournament, with no fewer than three draws, all of which will be completed. Semi-finalists qualify for the next draw!

Maximum number of participants per event

• MS R5/R7 — 48 players maximum
• MS R2/R4 — 28 players maximum (incl. 4 Qualifiers)
• MS N2/R1 — 14 players maximum (incl. 4 Qualifiers)

The organisers reserve the right to reduce the number of participants, depending on court availability, and not to accept the very few players who caused fair-play issues in previous years (unexcused walkovers, etc.). Surplus players will be placed on a waiting list and contacted again in case of withdrawals.

Selection criteria

• MS R5/R7 and MS R2/R4 : by registration order
• MS N2/R1 : by ranking value

Wild Cards

Wild cards may be awarded by Tennis Club de la Seymaz, in strict accordance with the Swiss Tennis rules.

Match schedule and tournament organisation

On weekdays, matches will start from 18h00 (5:00 pm for the N2-R1 draw). Last matches scheduled at 7:30 pm.
Maximum 2 matchs par jour, even if qualified for a higher draw.

Match times cannot be changed AFTER the draw. Please indicate any preferences BEFORE the draw (with no guarantee we can take them into account, but we will do our best and keep you informed).

Tableau R5-R7 (max 48 players, incl. 16 seeds)

• 1^st round: Saturday 15
• 2^nd round: Saturday 15 and Sunday 16
• 3^rd round: Sunday 16
• Quarter-final: Sunday 16 and Monday 17
• Semi-final: Saturday 22
• Final: Sunday 23

Tableau R2-R4 (max 28 players)

• 1^st round: Sunday 16 (late afternoon), Monday 17 and Tuesday 18
• 2^nd round: Tuesday 18 and Wednesday 19
• Quarter-final: Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20
• Semi-final: Saturday 22
• Final: Sunday 23

Tableau N2-R1 (max 14 players)

• 1^st round: Friday 21, 5:00 pm or 6:30 pm
• Quarter- and semi-final: Saturday 22
• Final: Sunday 23

Prizes & Prize money

The finalists of the MS R2/R4 and MS R5/R7 events will win, among other prizes, an annual membership to Tennis Club de la Seymaz for 2027 (worth CHF 440).
Prizes will be awarded from the semi-finals onwards, and potentially a souvenir prize for every participant, depending on what our sponsors make possible.

Place and time of the prize-giving

Tennis Club de la Seymaz, Sunday 23 August, after the finals, during a friendly aperitif.

Entry fee

60.– adults and 40.– juniors and club members. Payment by cash or Twint on site.

Absences / Walkovers

In case of a walkover during the tournament, the organiser may allow the player who lost in the previous round to take their place.
Players who withdraw after the draw must pay the entry fee, in accordance with article 26.2 of the Swiss Tennis tournament rules. In addition, those who do not show up without excusing themselves will be reported to Swiss Tennis, which will impose a CHF 100.– fine.
Only a medical certificate will be accepted in case of non-participation once the draw is online.

Officiating

All matches are played without an umpire. All participants and supporters behave fairly and follow the Swiss Tennis guidelines on competition between players without an umpire.

Tournament postponement

The tournament may be cancelled – or the format changed, such as introducing a Super Tie-Break instead of a 3^ème standard set – in case of rain on the first weekend.
